general information

We are strictly into novelty wave territory here team. You need a powerful northerly swell to spiral in and thread through the reefs and offshore sand banks to make it into Hervey Bay. during the cyclone season there can be a wave on the point which is really just a rocky slab or a sloppy windwall further around the bay towards the township of Torquay.

Lovely place to whale watch and grab some rarities if you are in the area but to be honest there are many other options in the area that will offer you superior results.
