general information

Head down the Captain cook Highway until you come to the sleepy village of Palm Cove. Once here hop into your zodiac and putter out to the island and reef group. Depending on the swell direction there are a few reefs that will break for you. On the larger swells there is even a mangrovy little bech break that will rumble into gear. This whole coast is very dependent on cyclonic swell as the Barrier Reef around 25 kilometres to the east attenuates much of the available swell in the area. Watch out for the stingers in the water.
