Barra do Ceara is a district of Fortaleza and a bit of a dodgy one crime-wize. But it does house a couple of white sand beaches that offer various beach breaks peaks, divided by rock groynes. Outflow of the Ceará River means pollution can be a problem, as is overuse as the locals pack the banks of the river in summer.
