Praia do Pecém, is a long pretty beach in São Gonçalo do Amarante, just south of the long pier or the port of the same name. It's pretty inconsistent offering mushy small beachies most of the time, but on a decent north-east swell you can get some long left handers worthy of ripping into. Popular with the sailboards aswell.
