general information
Humewood Beach is a small length of sand from King's Beach to Shark Rock Pier. There's a shallow sand bar lining the pilons of the old pier that still stick out of the water. The waves suck up at these pilons and then rifle down the sandbar sandbar into the beach. It's a short and fast right hander, that can produce quality barrels.
At times it is awesome and can be the best wave in PE. Likes swell with some east in it and provides good protection from southerly winds.
