general information
Pavilosta is asmall small fishing town located at the Baltic Sea coast between Liepaja and Ventspils, and 220 km from Latvian capital Riga. In summer through Autumn, southwest winds prevail, as well as in the whole Baltic Sea area and offer a chance of some wind swell. It will be small and it will be choppy, but it's an option. A good nor-wester wind also has enough fetch in the Baltic to produce mushy waves.
Pavilosta is one of the best windsurfing spots in the country so expect to plenty of big boards and kites.
