general information
Located at the northwestern tip of the Mokapu Peninsula. Solid northerly swells wrap around the point providing freight-train lefts that can barrel up for long sections over a sandbar into the beach. There are also some beach peaks down the beach. Like a solid north swell, and handles any south wind.
A good option in winter if there's a good north swell and everyone else is heading to the other side of the island. Only problem is that this is military land and so access is restricted. So unless you have a military friend, you'll be taking a boat and running the gauntlet with the MP's on the beach.
