general information

A standard beach break towards the eastern end of Punta Del Este, that likes a clean southeast swell. Close to down town there's sure to be a few here.

There's a welknown sculpture o the beach, known as "La Mano", reated by Chilean artist, Mario Irrazábal in 1982. It is a sculpture of a big hand that comes up from the beach, with fingers ('Dedos' in Spainish) protruding from the sand, hence the name of the break.
