Overshadowed by the fall of industry in the form of shells of old factories breaks some neat lefts and rights either side of the pier. This spot can produce some classic heavy surf in large clean swells. Pollution here is bad as are the rips, experience is  a must. Park on Old Cemetery Road and check the waves from the graveyard.
