general information
Kuta Beach (Lombok) not to be confused with Kuta Beach Bali, is more of a wet season break area as the summer long prevailing winds tend to blow everthing to pieces here, unless you're an early riser. Despite this it's a good place to base yourself to reach other waves in the area. To the south west side of the bay are rights over a coral reef that can occasionally flick up a quality wave if the swell is well organised and the winds from the northwest Oct - Mar.
