A very rare and challenging wave for the experienced only located here on Gili Trawangan, you wouldn't travel here specifically to surf this wave but it is a popular and idillic holiday spot with backpackers and party animals alike so if you're here with the other half or a bunch of mates for the parties and superb diving bring a board and you might get lucky. It takes a huge south to southwest swell to funnel up into the Lombok Strait and make this wave go off when it produce a long, fast and clean righthander that can be very tricky to negotiate, it has steep and barrely sections.To find it walk due south away from the main drag of bars and restaurants for about 15 mins and you cant miss it, this spot is also the best snorkelling on the island - check what your surfing over on the frequent flat days.

The Lombok Strait can be prone to strong currents as the South China Sea drains between these islands on a dropping tide so do watch out for that. You will need to organise a boat from the main land unless you are staying on one of the Islands here already.
