general information

Very rare waves located here on Gili Meno, you wouldn't travel here specifically to surf these waves but it is a popular and idillic holiday spot so if you're here with the other half or a bunch of mates for the parties and superb diving bring a board and you might get lucky. It takes a huge south to southwest swell to funnel up into the Lombok Strait and make these waves go off, which are rarely surfed. The Lombok Strait can be prone to strong currents as the South China Sea drains between these islands on a dropping tide so do watch out for that. You will need to organise a boat from the main land unless you are staying on one of the Islands here already.
