general information
Whitefish Point is one of the best set ups on Lake superior. The location to the SE of the lake means that it is exposed to the far more frequent NW wind and weather systems that chrun across the region in the winter months. Like all spots in the region, very fickle but prone to its best immediately following a heavy snow storm tracking to the south just as the winds drop.
