general information

Usually consistent right handers off the long surfside jetty, that on small days are rather fickle but fun. The jetty provides protection from southerly winds, so waves can be nice and clean here. When there's a larger swell and steeper peaks break over sand bars at the end of the Jetty. Apparently the peaks can handle well overhead. The paddle out can be strenuous and to make it to the end of the Jetty on a bigger day takes bionic arms so watch for locals doing the jetty jump. If it's crowded here, and if it's working it will be, check down beach breals further north along the beach.
