general information

This spot is often a good alternative when Duranbah is packed to the rafters. It offers punchy peaky surf, depending on sandbanks and is located on the south side of the Tweed rivermouth between the breakwall and sandpumping rig. To access it you can take the road south from D-bah or some chose to paddle across the river itself, a risky business due to sharks, strong rips whisking you out to sea and pollution.

Usually much quieter than it's bigger brother to the north (D-bah) but heaps more sharky, did we mention sharks?
