general information

Surf Central, East Sumbawa. Great place to base yourself. You can choose from lefts and rights, hollow or easy, all close by. Lakey Peak is a great hollow A-frame left, stays open most of the time, with a sucky right off the same peak. Down the beach is Nunga's, fun for longboards and less experienced surfers. Or the go-to place if Lakey's closes out.

A short walk to the east is Lakey Pipe, a super hollow sucking left great for boogies. And Periscopes right is an hour's walk to the west when conditions are right. Heaps of cheap places to stay right on the beach, so does get crowded mid season. Gets blown out a bit in peak season trade winds, so early mornings or wet season is the go!
