A solid lefthander in thumping south swells for more experienced surfers. It starts with a steep and jacking takeoff over reef into a barrel then progresses out to a good walling section towards the shoulder. There are a few stages to the reef standing the waves up further and further out on a growing swell so watch out for outside sets. It's a 5 minute padlle out to the offshore reef, which is shortened by a dropping tide. Check it in large powerful south swells and west is best for winds.
