Rare big wave tow in reef along the Dee why Long Reef stretch a few kilometes offshore. Access via iron man marathon paddle on your favourite 12 footer from the beach or tow in delivery.
The German Bank breaks in the largest of SE swells, due to the size of the swell, surface conditions can be a problem so an offshore wind is necessary to maximise the ride, otherwise you will be bouncing down the face throughout the entire ride.
Paddle well clear once your ride petters out, this is not the place you want to be caught inside on.
