general information
7 miles offshore from Secret Harbour, Western Australia; this bank breaks maybe once a year in massive SW swells. Access via offshore boat. Extremely sharky, tow in the only really documented method of delivery.
A young submarine navigator had this break named after him in the 1990's after he was widely believed to be the first person to have credibly rode the wave. Those were the days of ski ropes and longboards with a lot of wax - apparently the front half of that longboard is still lodged out on the bank somewhere after the first wave.
