general information
A tricky place to reach amongst an island group soaked in blood. The left handers here adjacent to Gun Island in the Pelsaert Group is one of the best in the area. Access via boat in the nearby channel. Take off as deep as you dare but beware of a more westerly swell, as this will tend to shut down the sections quite sharply.
An eerie place to surf, be sure to research the history of The Batavia that was wrecked here in the 1600's, it will add to the true mystique of surfing this unique break in Australian history.Wave length
