general information
D'Estrees Bay is a very sheltered by on the south side of the island. Follow the signs to the bay from the main road.
Usually flat or near enough, it takes a good size south swell to start breaking here. Small days are great for beginners, you will pretty much have the place to yourself as it is a very quite place. As the swell comes up you can score small beach breaks when other breaks are maxing out. Drive along and check the banks.
Again, this is an isolated place so take care. Gets very cold in winter.
