general information
This beach is home to the famous penguin parade when in the evening time just after dark thousands on tiny fairy penguins march up the beach to their homes in the dunes. The beach is off limits at this time but you can pay to sit in the purpose built amphitheatre to watch this wonder. During daylight hours in good south west swells the beach is home to a fun right hander breaking over a sand an reef seabed in kind of a point setup, it's a fun workable wall and is best at high tide. Just to the east is a break called Centre Crack that can offer a short barrel at mid to low tides and there are also beachy peaks here on the right day.
