general information

North Steyne is the spot in front of the surf club in the middle of Manly Beach. Often you will find plenty of peaks out here but usually with a decent crowd on it. Waves are dependant on banks, swell and wind but when the elements come together this can be the place to be.

Waves vary from soft, rolling waves ideal for beginners and mals to great A frame barrels ideal for experienced surfers. Keep an eye on the rips and look out for the storm pipes and you might get a few good ones on the right day.
