general information
Queenscliff or Queensie is the north end of Manly Beach, just follow the road or footpath past the stormwater pipe and your there.
The wave is a beach break that varies in quality depending on the swell, wind and banks. Often Queenscliff picks up the most swell of Manly Beach so if the south end is small keep going north to Queensie. A selection of banks will mean the crowd thins out a bit and you should find a wave easy enough. Waves can be anything from very full, rolling waves for mals or beginners to A frame barrels big enough to park a small car in. Check Queensie during SW winds, it could be worth it!
Note - In very big swell the Bombie breaks right out the back. A favourite with the tow in crew.
