general information

The southern end of the beach from Long Reef is Dee Why. Follow any road east from the main Pittwater Road at Dee Why and you will get there.

The beach is quite long and offers plenty of scope in the right conditions. Often the further you walk down the less the crowd. Wave quality is decided by the sand banks but often there is somethign worth surfing here, especially in west winds and a small to medium swell.

The corner near the rocks can also offer opportunities for the learner surfer as it is often shallow and the waves are smaller.
