Eland's Bay is a small village adjacent to Cape Deseada. The Bay is home to one of the best left handers on the entire coast - The Point. 4WD beach access will place you right on the doorstep of the break. A longish paddle into what can be a fairly hectic lineup requiring good timing will be rewarded with left handers up to 200-300 metres long. The initial reeling take off gives way to a more mellow section typically groomed by the adjacent rivermouth. A true gem of Western Cape and a must for the traveller.
