general information
Narrabeen Beach is quite long and can develop a few good sand banks between North Narrabeen and Collaroy. Just check along the beach by ducking down any side street of Ocean Street and you will get a view of the waves.
Southy's waves are usually short and punchy, often producing barrels in medium to big swells. Best waves are when the swell is small to medium out of the NE to East and the wind is off shore. When this is the case you just need to find a sand bank.
Not really a learners wave as it all happens quickly but fun for the experienced surfer.
