general information

Out front of the rocky northern end of Shelly Beach is a reef break called Trestles. A fairly heavy reef break that can produce quality barrels and clean waves. Best in small to medium swells and west winds. Access is down a small road at the north end of Shelly.

The paddle out is either a long one from the beach or a risky jump from the rocks and mad scrabble, this tends to keep the crowds down.

Definately a wave for the experienced surfer, well worth a dig if you get it on the right day.
