A series of man made groynes along the beach hold sandbanks in place that produce high quality peaky beach waves that are hollow and powerful in character. They can also be ridiculously crowded. These spots will work at all tidal stages and hold up to head and a half high surf. Check them during summer south swells and northeasterly winds for offshores.
