This is a great little beachside town with plenty of surf oppertunities to suit all tastes and abilities. There is a hollow and bowly left hand reef but needs a decent swell to wake it up. There is also a very slightly easier left reef that breaks over a slab, but is still a little shallow and a bit fickle.

Another wave worth noting is a mellow long left that wraps its way upthe rivermouth and is very popular with longboarders. This is to name a few of the local waves but there are many more which can be very enjoyable to find for yourself.
