Lagoon sucks
Had a great surf here, 3 waves. Persuaded the boat to take me to the reef after running down the mountain after seeing the break on high. left my gear in the other boat moored on the inside. Made welcome in the line up but was told to come in with them within the next few minutes. Why? Imagine a 9 klm X 1 klm lagoon draining through three reef passes and trying to paddle in against that. The point, listen to local knowledge. That crew hate rescuing mainland ego heads.
