There are some good breaks around this portuguese town. Firstly there are some quality rights in the rivermouth at the northern border of Portugal when the sand banks are right. Watch out for the rips, crowds and pollution though, and there can be a little 'localism' here. There are also a few less crowded reefs around a bit further south of the river that produce mainly lefts.
