I love playing with different shapes and designs so I am hoping some of you out there might want to share any ideas or maybe some of you have plans for a shape you want to do soon. Basically lets talk shape and designs.... I am riding a 6 finner ATM and getting used to it, plan on doing another and just make some small adjustments to improve how she goes....also doing some other stuff....

yeah, I did take about 6 boards there, it was an ok day, good to see the different paths people are taking with the fish design. No one really doing what I am doing with the Fat-Bats. I recently did my version of a stinger, I called mine "The Swinger ", its a Fat-Bat ose to the flyer and then after the flyer its a 6'0 performance shorty tail, havent ridden it yet but it looks alot of fun. I am always playing with different stuff like the 6 finner I am riding ATM....cheers

Contact Ian from Fiji Surf and tell him you wanna surf somewhere elsebeside Namoyu and Wilkes...If you have the balls, try a wave called Kongs, mini Pipe but bloody shallow, high tide only but epic pits so I hear...Yasawa ????

I am keen to hear thoughts of what makes a semi-fish, a hybrid and a fish ? I know what the traditional twin keel fish is all about but would like to know what people think is the difference between these designs ??? thay have become so blurred of late I think...It doesnt hurt the design side of things at all, actually great to see several designs morphed into 1 functional board...thoughts ???

not trying to get the count up, just a bit of a stuff up....glad to hear your mat is enjoying his Fat-Bat...have a go and let me know what you think...I am just about to shape myself a 6' Fat-Bat, sold my 5'10 to a grommy on the Northern Beaches and have been without a FB for a few weeks now ( except for my old 5'7 black bat ), so keen to get a new one in time for the Fish-Fry too.
