marketing thing ??? I shape everything and anything and it gets bloody confuding if they dont have names , how does a punter tell me what he likes or what design he is talking about without a design name or pidgeon hole as you call it mate ??? There prob is some marketing stuff goin on but for me I just give em a name so I and customers know what they are and to differeciate one design from another...especially with all the hybrids of hybrids with slight adjustments and then modifications of the hybridisation, who knows what these designs are anymore, but I do know it is all time coz finally surfers are up for some diff stuff besides just a high-perf thruster......example of designs I have atm...
Fat-Bat ( semi fish quad )Quadfather ( wider , slightly flatter perf quad )MP3 ( semi-fish- 2 + 1 set-up, retro with modern twist )Swinger ( stinger tye design, semi-fish nose, high perf tail, quad, usually round tail )Hyper ( typical ultra high performance shapes , usually thruster )Double D ( fuller planshape, wider, flatter deck, loose and lively, shorter )Vicous Kanid ( semi -fish, lots of curve, deep double concaved quad (or thruster or twin ) ), for pocket surfingsingles, twinnies, mini mals, longboards and everything in between....without names I would be farrkkked.....
