Awesome photos! Better then wannasurf! I just miss talking on the spot about the spots. If you decide to update, my vote is for the ability to use twitter/facebook details to comment.

Aloha! smile

PS Damn it, love the images!

Thanks mate, Wannasurf is a great site but we are looking to move in a different direction now - make out site more focused on researching the location you want to go surfing and then let you hook up with providers in the area - surf travel companies to get you there etc. Yes, plugging social networking tool into the site is the next big upgrade! Good to have you onboard!

Sweetness. Wannasurf is not too bad, but there is too much of everything, especially the advertising which takes up a third of screen space. Judging by how those guys look after their site, I am not sure if they care about surfing or surfers at all.

I am, like a fair few of us, look for a way to stay with local families. This opens up surf travel for people on the budget. You know, staying in resort-type hotel costs hundreds of $ per night, whereas staying with local families is well under a $50. Better for cultural exchange, good for locals and my pocket. Disclaimer: I have no idea how to implement this or if there is any money in it. Just ideas smile
