DownTheLineRadio.comFEB 23 - MAR 2: An above average week for surf with plenty of overhead days. The biggest day of the El Nino winter, or at the least the most powerful day, was on Sun. Feb 28, with a combination of wind swell and groundswell that created an experts only day of surfing with sets topping 12', with strong currents and lumpy morning conditions that cleaned up as the day progressed. The rest of the week was solid. Glassy mornings with mostly NW arvo winds at 10-12knts, water: 60 degrees F. The storm/swell train in the NorEast Pacific is still chugging along.

We've had a lackluster week with spring-like onshores and back to back lo pressures bringing rain and windy conditions. Overall a slow down in swell energy but still some chest and head high surf on occasion. Seeing steep nw groundswell and lots of windswell from the breezy conditions along the entire California coast. Cool air temperatures in the low 60s

March 10 -17:Week started with lumpy windswell in the shoulder high range and plenty of cold water upwelling from strong nw winds. Smaller surf and unseasonably warm air temps up to 80 degrees moved in with a 4' groundswell making for absolutely gorgeous surfing the last few days. St. Patty's day promising to be a good one.San Diego Surf Report - Down The Liine Radio

We've had shoulder to head high surf most of the week with Tuesday March 23 seeing very solid mix of combo south and north swells in the head high range. This week San Diego transitioned seemlessly from NorPac swells to Southern Hemi swells. Really good sand banks too. The only down side might be the 58 degree F water temps. There has been no shortage of waves here of late and the forecast looks promising too.

April 6 -- A pretty good week of surf as a north swells continue to punch through and springtime NW outer winds provide plenty of windswell energy as well. Most of the week saw 3-5' surf. Some bigger days as well, some blown out afternoons, april 6 sd but nothing below 3' or 1m. Solid but inconsistent Southern hemi south swell expected to roll through Friday through the weekend or the 10 & 11th. Crossing fingers.
