Been away from surf for six weeks or if I was near the ocean it was flat, so hllucinations started and I recalled a number of non coastal or weirdo surf I knew of.
The tidal bores; The Severn, the Mascaret ( both of which didn't have the tidal coefficient to do their thing) The Pocoroca, the Black Dragon in China.
Then I thought of the standing waves like the Eisbach and others
and the the rebound waves in Sydney harbour like Nielsen park, Dobroyd bommies washaways and fairlight and then checked out surfing fifty states on the web.
Ship waves like the Suez Canal and the Texas tanker surf.
So what weirdo waves do you know of?
