The Kenai Peninsula is a large pepninsula which hangs just off the southern coast of Alaska. The peninsula includes several of the most populous towns in southern Alaska, such as Seward on the Gulf of Alaska Coast, Soldotna and Kenai along the Cook Inet, and Homer, along Kachemak Bay in the south.

The weather in the peninsula is relatively mild with abundant rainfall. It is one of the few areas in Alaska that allows for agriculture, with a growing season adequate for producing hay and several other crops.

There are many lodges, bed & breakfasts and cabins in the Kenai Peninsula. If you don't suceed in booking one, don't worry, there are heaps of camping grounds which you can camp at as well. The Kenai Peninsula gets abit crowded during the summer time so make sure you make bookings for all your plans such as accommodation and car rentals to avoid disappointment.
