The Canadian North West Territiries are gradually revealing their some of their secrets to the hardy band of surfing explorers that ply these waters in the short cold summer of the midnight sun. The area is host to an array of islands, many landlocked however with silent shores. The west coasts of the major islands such as Banks Island, Prince Patrick Island and the icy Borden Island define the new frontier of Canadian surfing.
